Farm to Table
Our blueberries are grown at "Carmel Blueberry" farm in the southern Golan Heights.
The cultivation is done in a soil-less medium, within pots that contain the precise substrate for each seedling. We monitor each seedling using sensors for climate control, water, fertilizer, acidity, and more, allowing us to obtain an up-to-date status and individually add what each seedling needs to grow optimally.
Our blueberry plants and fruits are not sprayed at any stage. We only use natural pest control (biological pest management) to neutralize pests and keep the fruit and seedlings free from diseases. We utilize honeybees and bumblebees for natural pollination of the flowers.
At our farm, we adhere to the most stringent international standards regarding agricultural practices, hygiene, worker welfare, safety, and environmental quality. We hold certifications for Global G.A.P, BRC, ISO 9001, and HACCP. The fruit is harvested by workers wearing hats, masks, and gloves, and then transferred to our packing house, where it is sorted and packaged using innovative sorting and packing machines, with minimal human contact.
From the farm, the fresh blueberries are transported in refrigerated vehicles at a temperature of 2-4 degrees Celsius to our collection point in Tel Aviv, and from there directly to your home or workplace.
